REGISTRATIONS CLOSE THURSDAY 11pm FEBRUARY 24th FOR ALL DIVISIONS

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION AND WEIGH-IN INFORMATION

  1. ALL WEIGH INS ARE ON SITE ONLY AND SCRATCH WEIGHT. 
  2. THERE IS NO FEE FOR A WEIGHT CHANGE THE NIGHT BEFORE WRESTLING
  3. $50 FEE FOR ANY WEIGHT CHANGE WHEN WAITING UNTIL THE DAY OF THE EVENT FOR LAST MINUTE WEIGH INS.
  4. NO FRIDAY WEIGH INS FOR SUNDAY WRESTLING
  5. ENTRY FEE BY IS $40 IF REGISTERED AND PAID BY FEBRUARY 18TH AT NOON. REGISTER EARLY AND SAVE.
  6. ENTRY FEE IS $50 FEBRUARY 19TH NOON TO THURSDAY FEBRUARY 24 BY 11PM
  7. WRESTLERS MUST BE REGISTERED AND PAID BY MONDAY FEBRUARY 21 AT NOON TO BE CONSIDERED FOR SEPARATION/SEEDING BY THE COMMITTEE. IN THE EVENT A PRE-SEEDED WRESTLER CHANGES WEIGHTS HE/SHE MAY NO LONGER BE SEEDED IN THE NEW WEIGHT DEPENDING ON THE SITUATION.
  8. PLEASE HAVE YOUR SINGLET ON UNDER YOUR CLOTHES BEFORE ENTERING THE BUILDING FOR WEIGH INS. 
  9. SCRATCH WEIGHT ONLY FOR EVERYONE
  10.  IMPORTANT LINKS/INFORMATION
   11- WRESTLERS MAY GO UP AN AGE GROUP BUT NO DOUBLE BRACKETING. EXPERIENCED WRESTLERS BORN AFTER 2015 ARE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE 2014-15 AGE GROUP. NO SPECIAL GROUPING OR CONSIDERATION IS GIVEN TO WRESTLERS NOT IN THE AGE GROUP.
 

LATE REGISTRATION $75 ON FRIDAY WEIGH INS FOR SATURDAY WRESTLING AND SATURDAY WEIGH INS FOR SUNDAY WRESTLING.

Location:    Meadow Event Park in the Farm Bureau Building, 13191 Dawn Blvd, Doswell, VA 23047, Lawn Chairs allowed; No food and drink allowed from the outside.

Individual Entry Fee: $50 Paid Online.  Unpaid entries will be withdrawn at 11pm Thursday 2/24.

At the Door : USAW Wrestling At The Door:Leader/Coaches with 2021-22 USAW Card $10 good for both days purchased at the door only.  Required for coaching on the mat.

Wrestling gear & apparel will be sold onsite by Blue Chip Wrestling along with Virginia Men’s and Women’s Wrestling Gear

COACHES must present a 2021-22 USAW Coaches Card required for a floor pass to coach mat side.  REMINDER:  Online background checks are required every 2 years and a completed background check is required BEFORE you can purchase a current USAW Coach Card.  Background checks may take UP TO 2 WEEKS to process, so do NOT delay. No one is allowed in the coaching area without a current USAW Membership, coaching or volunteer. NO coaching on the mat without a Wrestling Leader Card.

COMPETITORS must have a 2021-22 USAW Athlete Card  available at Weigh-ins if requested. Proof of AGE may be required  on site if questioned.

HEAD GEAR AND MOUTHGUARD FOR BRACES ARE REQUIRED

Awards: Medals 1st-6th Place for individuals, Banners will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each boys division and top 2 in each Girls division.

Thursday February 24

11:00pm: Deadline for registration

Friday February 25 

5-8:00 pm : Weigh Ins (WEIGHT CHANGES CAN BE MADE AT WEIGH-INS, WITH NO FEE) for anyone wrestling Saturday which is All Girls K-5, 6-8, HS and boys (Born 2012-15). Girls K-5 and 6-8 will be Madison weights.
No Friday weigh ins for Sunday wrestling.

Session One 
  • 7:30-8 am - Building Opens for late weigh ins for Saturday morning only, All Girls K-5, 6-8, HS and boys (Born 2012-13) (Born 2014-15) 
  • 9:00 am - Wrestling Begins 
Session Two 
  • 11-11:30 am - Last Minute weigh in for Saturday Afternoon (Born 2010-11) 
  • 1:00 pm - Wrestling begins for (Born 2010-11) 
  • 5-7:00 pm -Weigh Ins for (Born 2006-07) (Born 2008-09) 
Sunday February 27
Session Three 
  • 7:30-8 am - Building Opens for Wrestlers, Last minute weigh in for wrestlers  (Born 2008-09)
  • 9:00 am - Wrestling Begins 
Session Four
  • 10-10:30 am late weigh in for (Born 2006-07)
  • 11:00 am Building Opens for (Born 2006-07) 
  • 12:00 pm Wrestling Begins 
Separation/Seeding Information
DUE TO THE LACK OF REGIONAL AND HIGH LEVEL EVENTS IN WRESTLING, SEPARATION OF QUALITY WRESTLERS AND CLUBS WILL BE OBTAINED AS BEST AS POSSIBLE. A COMMITTEE WILL BE MADE UP OF CLUB LEADERS FROM THROUGHOUT THE STATE. WRESTLERS MUST BE REGISTERED AND PAID BY MONDAY FEBRUARY 21 AT NOON TO BE CONSIDERED FOR SEPARATION/SEEDING BY THE COMMITTEE. IN THE EVENT A PRE-SEEDED WRESTLER CHANGES WEIGHTS HE/SHE IS WILL NO LONGER BE SEEDED IN THE NEW WEIGHT.
