Saints Claim Top Spot in Final VA Wrestling Rankings

With the conclusion of the high school season, Virginiawrestling.com has determined that St. Christopher's School out of Richmond finishes the 2017-18 season as the top ranked team in the All-Class Rankings. The 2018 VISAA State Champions recently finished 6th at the National Preps with five All-Americans (#5 ranked Benedictine brought home three All-Americans and an 11th place finish at National Preps) to put the icing on the cake of their outstanding season. St. Christopher's defeated #2 Battlefield, #3 Christiansburg, and #5 Benedictine en route to their first VISAA State title in five years. VHSL 4A champions Eastern View checks in at #4 in the final rankings with Robinson, Kellam, Warren County, Brooke Point, and Grundy rounding out the top ten.

170: Jackson Turley (St. Christopher's)

182: Paul Pierce (Brooke Point)
