Preparing to wrestle at NHSCAs? Looking to explore the Olympic styles of Freestyle and Greco-Roman? Look no further--Information on the 2017 Folkstyle to Freestyle Clinic & NHSCA Training Day has officially been announced.
Come join the Team Virginia Wrestling family on March 12th at Hanover High School in Mechanicsville, VA for a structured clinic as we prepare for the elite off-season competition.
Featuring Virginia natives and world-renowned Team USA Greco-Roman wrestlers, Jon Anderson and Keith Wilson. Alongside them will be 2017 NCAA Championship Qualifiers (and former Team VA wrestlers) Sahid Kargbo (2015 Jr. World Team) and Ibrahim Bunduka. As well as your coveted VAWA Staff with the likes of Larry Allen, Sonny Close, Nathan Coburn, Ross Gitomer, Bryan Hazard, Roy Hill, and Rob Prebish, to name a few.

8:30-9:00 Registration and Check-in
9:00-10:15 Technique/Positional emphasis led by Guest Clinicians, Virginia Coaches Coordinator and Team Virginia Coaches
10:15 Water Break
10:20-11:00 Situational Wrestling
11:00-11:45 Lunch Break
12:00 Warm up
12:15-1:15 Group Breakout Sessions—Clinicians will teach their area of expertise in segments w/ groups rotating through each clinician & coach
1:15-2:00 Live Wrestling
2:00 Cool down and conclusion
Cost:
$12.00 for returning NHSCA or Fargo All-Americans
$15.00 for returning National Team Members with USAW Full or High Performance Membership
$20.00 for athletes holding a USAW Full or High Performance Membership
$40.00 for athletes holding a USAW Folkstyle Membership
NOTE: Athletes from other states are welcome - $40.00
This clinic is intended for high school and elite schoolboy/novice wrestlers and coaches
Free for all coaches with active VAWA membership and all members of the VAWCA
