The National High School Division features Nazareth (PA), currently ranked #14 by Intermat as the number one seed. 2016 Florida 3A champions South Dade is seeded second, while two top ranked New Jersey teams: South Plainfield and St. Augustine Prep are seeded third and fourth. South Plainfield is ranked third in New Jersey, while St. Augustine Prep is 17th. The overall number one team in Virginia, Christiansburg, is seeded fifth.

The top four seeds in the American High School Division include: Bellefonte (PA) at number one, Haddonfield (NJ) second, Grassfield, ranked #18 in Virginia, is seeded third, while Camden Catholic (NJ) is seeded fourth. Grundy, ranked #8 in Virginia, checks in as the number one seed in the Black and Blue Division, with Amherst and Hickory seeded second and third. #25 Poquoson is seeded fourth.
