The Virginia Wrestling Association Cadet National Duals team traveled to York, PA to compete in the USA Wrestling Cadet National Duals June 14-18, 2016 and put together an overall record of 10-5 in freestyle and Greco. The Greco Roman team went 5-2 overall and won the Red/Blue pool on day two of the tournament. The freestyle team finished in 12th place overall by finishing 4th in the Bronze/Copper pool with an overall record of 5-2. Five Virginia wrestlers: Trent Ragland (195 lbs. Greco), James Mormon (220 lbs. Greco), Kurt McHenry (100 lbs. freestyle), Brandon Wittenberg (106 lbs. freestyle), and Malcom Robinson (126 lbs. freestyle) all finished their portion of the duals with undefeated records.
