Regional Qualifier Update 

Due to continued winter weather and after coordination with host sites, officials, athletic directors, and county partners, all VA USA Regional Qualifiers will now take place on the same day: Sunday, February 8, 2026 At each participant’s originally registered location; Given this weekend’s weather contingency, one location change was required, and Glenvar participants will now compete at Christiansburg High School; an updated site graphic will be shared soon.

What this means:

• All participants will compete at the original site they registered for.
• Regional transfer locations are no longer in play.
• Five Regional Qualifiers will run simultaneously on February 8.

Transfer options were previously offered in good faith following initial weather disruptions; however, with two consecutive weekends of significant weather and additional conditions still in the forecast, returning all participants to their original sites is the most responsible path forward. This approach helps:

• Reduce risk and minimize registration errors
• Uphold fairness and tournament integrity
• Ensure officials, volunteers, and medical staff are properly staffed
• Coordinate around VHSL regional events beginning next week

Transfer Option Still Available
