How to qualify for Kids, Cadet, & Junior Nationals

How can the Kids Division qualify for Kids Nationals 
Attention Qualifying for Nationals: Wrestlers must qualify to enter this event by competing in their designated regional or with approval from the wrestler's state chairperson! Wrestlers can compete in as many regionals as they  choose, but wrestlers can ONLY QUALIFY FOR KIDS NATIONALS BY PARTICIPATING IN THEIR DESIGNATED REGIONAL*. Virginia wrestlers can qualify by competing in either the Northeast Region or the Southeast Region. If you compete in the Northeast Region you must get 
approval from State Chair Bill Swink

How can Cadets and Juniors qualify for Fargo
Win the VAWA State Freestyle or Greco Championship
The top 3 place finishers from any Cadet/Junior Regional qualify for 
Fargo, as well as top 8 from UWW Cadet Nationals. 
Otherwise this is the only other tournament to qualify you for the National Teams. If 
you cannot make the tournament and wish to petition on to one of the teams, you 
must have a written petition on file with the State Chairman accompanied by a check 
in the amount of $100 prior to the tournament. The $100 is nonrefundable. The State Chairman and the Coaching Staff will rule on your petition. Do not bother petitioning unless you have a valid reason.  
(Example: a debilitating injury) 
Wild Card positions will be filled by competitors who competed in the state 
championships there can be as many as 3 wildcards in a weight.
The ONLY way to qualify for Nationals is through the state championships, regional 
championships, and petition.
