Fargo Day 4, VAWA has two Double All Americans

After two grueling rounds of competition in the 2010 Cadet Freestyle Championships, two Virginians have  advanced to the Pool round robins, and subsequently becoming double All-americans.  84 pounder Hunter Wright has pinned his initial two opponents before losing his third round bout.  At this point Hunter has 4 wrestlers left in his pool and is assured of advancing to the medal round on Thursday.  Tomorrow morning he will have two more matches to determine his pool placement.  After his 2nd place finish in the Cadet Greco Championships on Monday, Brandon has  looked dominant as he has switched over to leg attacks. Brandon has reeled off  6 consecutive victories on this first day of competiton and has yet to give up a point.  At this point, there are 4 wrestlers left in his pool that started with 35 competitors, ensuring  Brandon of another All-American placement.  He will also have 2 matches tomorrow morning to determine his pool placement.  In the other pool, Zane Richards is also undefeated at 6 and 0.  Perhaps a Jeske-Richards rematch is in the cards freestyle finals.  Marcus Beckwith has had a strong tourney as well, going 3 and 1 on the day, with a bye.  At the conclusion of day 1, Marcus still has 7 left alive in his bracket and will need to get 1 or 2 more wins tomorrow morning to place.  The Juniors will start their freestyle tourney tomorrow morning.
