EagleHawk Academy
EagleHawk Academy Coming to Paul VI . . . this is so exciting for wrestling in Northern Virginia. Wade Schalles is bringing his expertise, energy and highly successful wrestling club to Paul VI High School starting March 1. Don’t miss the first week of an eight week program; it’s FREE of charge to everyone who would like to attend; coaches, parents, and athletes alike.
"It's amazing; I've never seen world class instruction reduced to such simple terms. My son is so excited!"
Come see why Dan Gable called Wade, “the best pinner he has ever known.” Why he’s in the Guinness Book of World Records for most wins and most pins. Have you ever heard of the Merkle, the Cement Mixer, the Spladle, the Clemson Roll or wondered where funk wrestling originated; well, all at the same place, in the mind of Coach Schalles.
"My boys got a tremendous workout at their first practice and we will definitely be back, paperwork and check in hand. I believe EagleHawk is precisely what they've always needed, and I wish I would have known about your Academy earlier. It's clear to me that you have a passion for teaching and a genuine affection for the boys in the room. What this is, how it's done, who you are . . . everything simply blew me away."
The dates and times for the two FREE clinics are Monday, March 1, 6:30-9:00 PM and Wednesday, March 3, 6:30-9:00 PM in the wrestling room at Paul VI High School.
"The way Coach Schalles teaches, everything is so simple and basic to understand. He has me thinking everything I do - it's like an Ivy League education at state school pricing."
Since its inception 6 months ago, EagleHawk has been holding weekly classes out of the Landon School in Bethesda for almost 150 athletes, many of which are the top ranked wrestlers in Maryland. Now he’s coming to Fairfax and you don’t want to miss him.
"When Coach Schalles is teaching, my wrestlers don't get that foggy look in their eyes that they tend to do with other instructors. That's why we continually come to EagleHawk."
"How can you not pay attention, his presentation’s are so entertaining. I learned for two straight hours from him and brought home more technique than I could use in two months. My kids loved him."
